In Greek mythology, a centaur is a wild creature with the head, arms, and torso of a man joined to the body of a horse at its neck. In boating circles, the Sea Sonic Centaur is redefining the expectations of runabouts. Its stunning appearance and performance make for one heck of a hull. The Centaur's hydraulic steering system and two rudders provide extraordinary smooth handling. The Centaur cruising speed is 30 mph, but it is capable of maximum speeds between 50 and 65 mph, depending upon the engine. There are three twin-engine options from which to select. The length of the boat is 28.5 feet, and its beam is 8.5 feet.
There is sufficient space for eight passengers with six upholstered seats and two spaces on the aft deck's large sunning pad. The chrome handrails of the stepped transom allows for easy access to the water. There is even a hot or cold freshwater shower in the stern. State-of-the-art stereo systems are standard equipment on Centaurs. The below-deck V-berth provides both respite from the sun and storage capabilities, while a glass deck hatch allows air and light to enter. A wet bar, which includes a fridge and a sink, is located on deck. For entertaining purposes, a very convenient table rises from the floor with the push of a button.
The deep-V hull is solid mahogany throughout, with multi-layered mahogany-marine plywood attached to the outside. To reinforce its hull and transom, Kevlar is laminated between the two layers of plywood for added strength. Canadian maple wood is inlaid in the mahogany fore and aft decks along with sturdy chrome hardware. The rigid construction of the Centaur allows 14 coats of epoxy and four coats of polyurethane to be applied over it. The end result is a shiny high-gloss finish that is watertight and resistant to weather conditions and saltwater. It is as close to being maintenance-free as it gets.

World's Biggest Catamaran
Often times there is truth behind the phrase, "Bigger isn't always better," however this is not the case for Sunreef Yacht's latest addition to the world of Super Yachts. Based out of Gdansk, Poland, this luxury yacht builder is introducing the world's biggest luxury catamaran to date.
Named the One Fifty, this 150-foot vessel comes as the company's response to continuing demand for a combination of luxury, performance and size. "Over the years we've seen an increasing interest in bigger luxury cats and have been expanding our range incrementally to accommodate that" says Nicolas Lapp, Sunreef's Vice-President, "The One Fifty is now a quantum leap reflecting our customers inquiries."
The One Fifty is not just any super boat sweeping its presence through the waters, but is a meticulously designed vessel, modern in style. With sleek lines both internally and externally, the topside of the yacht blends into the curve of the hull. Not only does this make for a pleasing aesthetic, but also in keeping with the times it allows for a flat surface to accommodate solar panels. Stylish and smooth, the One Fifty also offers a cheaper source of energy with it's green alternative.
The main deck on the One Fifty is spacious and spreads itself over two levels, which spans the entire beam, approximately 17 meters. The large deck leads up to an even larger flybridge and a navigation station.
As if the size and design aren't unique enough, the One Fifty offers a break in tradition with its sun-roofed cockpit. Guests aboard the One Fifty can enjoy the sun-drenched cockpit by way of sun beds, a dining table set for twelve or informal cushioned armchairs.
The main deck and the starboard hull house accommodations for twelve guests, split between six double staterooms. In keeping with traditional design, crew quarters for eight are found in the opposite hull. A special lift provides connection between the upper deck and the crew quarters and storage rooms below.
Sunreef Yacht's wants their guests to feel at home on the seas and therefore designed the One Fifty with creature comforts in mind. A large salon with panoramic views boasts a lounge style bar and dining room and is decorated to emphasize openness and natural light and of course has an 80 inch flat screen mounted on its wall.

A three-masted Barkentine Sailing Ship
This magnificent vessel was built in 1962 as an expedition vessel / trawler, and rebuilt in 1993 as a sailing vessel / special purpose ship. During the rebuilding of the vessel into a three-masted Barkentine, all engines were completely overhauled under the Polski Rejestr Statkow ( Polish Register of Shipping). Our agent in Europe inspected the vessel ashore and at sea in the German Bight and found the sailing characteristics to be very good with a perfect stability. The vessel was in a tip top condition and suitable for her purpose. Compared to other sailing vessels of her dimensions she is "one of a kind," with more Luxury and comfort than most.
