World's Biggest Catamaran

Often times there is truth behind the phrase, "Bigger isn't always better," however this is not the case for Sunreef Yacht's latest addition to the world of Super Yachts. Based out of Gdansk, Poland, this luxury yacht builder is introducing the world's biggest luxury catamaran to date.

Named the One Fifty, this 150-foot vessel comes as the company's response to continuing demand for a combination of luxury, performance and size. "Over the years we've seen an increasing interest in bigger luxury cats and have been expanding our range incrementally to accommodate that" says Nicolas Lapp, Sunreef's Vice-President, "The One Fifty is now a quantum leap reflecting our customers inquiries."

The One Fifty is not just any super boat sweeping its presence through the waters, but is a meticulously designed vessel, modern in style. With sleek lines both internally and externally, the topside of the yacht blends into the curve of the hull. Not only does this make for a pleasing aesthetic, but also in keeping with the times it allows for a flat surface to accommodate solar panels. Stylish and smooth, the One Fifty also offers a cheaper source of energy with it's green alternative.

The main deck on the One Fifty is spacious and spreads itself over two levels, which spans the entire beam, approximately 17 meters. The large deck leads up to an even larger flybridge and a navigation station.

As if the size and design aren't unique enough, the One Fifty offers a break in tradition with its sun-roofed cockpit. Guests aboard the One Fifty can enjoy the sun-drenched cockpit by way of sun beds, a dining table set for twelve or informal cushioned armchairs.

The main deck and the starboard hull house accommodations for twelve guests, split between six double staterooms. In keeping with traditional design, crew quarters for eight are found in the opposite hull. A special lift provides connection between the upper deck and the crew quarters and storage rooms below.

Sunreef Yacht's wants their guests to feel at home on the seas and therefore designed the One Fifty with creature comforts in mind. A large salon with panoramic views boasts a lounge style bar and dining room and is decorated to emphasize openness and natural light and of course has an 80 inch flat screen mounted on its wall.
